Event Description

Many people are living in tiny houses. It is ideal to have composting toilets in such houses. Anyway, a composting toilet is a different kind of toilet because it is waterless and uses a micro-flush system. This type of toilet uses an anaerobic composting process, treating human wastes as a compost.

A composting toilet is composed of only two basic elements. One, we have a place for you to sit and the other second is the composting unit, which has four primary parts. Read

First, we have the storage or the chamber. Second, the ventilation unit, ensuring a degradation of the aerobic process and venting of bad odor. Third, we have the leachate, collecting and removing excess liquid. Lastly, we have a door to extract the compost.

The chamber for the composting toilet is constructed either above the ground or below the ground. The chamber could be constructed inside or outside a structure, too. It all depends on how you planned for the design and construction.
